Historic Wreck Recovery is committed to the recovery of The Royal James. The Royal James was a massive first rate man of war at 40.36 meters. The flag ship of the blue squadron and was sank by the dutch in the battle of Sole Bay in 1672.

Scott Burgess: Diver and IT Support

Scott Burgess joined in March 2008 as Photographer/Videographer and I.T support,whilst learning to become a diver.

Having qualifed as a diver in August 2008, Scott has participated in several projects including Medieval Dunwich as diver/photgrapher, HMS Alban as helmsman, surface support and other wrecks
